Overview
InstaSave.cloud ("we", "us") provides a free tool for downloading publicly available Instagram content. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, and how it's handled.
Information we collect
Instagram links you submit. When you paste a link, we send it to our media-fetching service to retrieve the associated video or photo. We do not store the links you submit or the files you download on our servers after your download completes.
Basic technical logs. Like most websites, our server automatically records limited technical data for security and analytics purposes: your IP address, browser/user-agent string, the page requested, and the referring page. This is standard web server behavior and is used only in aggregate to understand traffic patterns and detect abuse — we do not use it to build individual profiles.
Theme preference. If you toggle dark/light mode, we store that choice in your browser's local storage so it's remembered on your next visit. This never leaves your device.
Human verification. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm you're a real visitor and not an automated bot before processing a download. Turnstile may process limited technical signals (such as your IP address and browser characteristics) per Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
What we don't collect
- We never ask for your Instagram username or password.
- We don't require account creation, email sign-up, or any personal identifying information to use the downloader.
- We don't sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers.
Cookies
We use minimal local storage (not traditional tracking cookies) for functional purposes like remembering your theme preference. Cloudflare Turnstile may set its own cookies as part of its verification process.
Third-party services
We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate InstaSave.cloud: a media-fetching API to retrieve Instagram content, and Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection. These providers may process technical data (such as IP address) according to their own privacy policies.
Data retention
Technical access logs are retained for a limited period for security and abuse-prevention purposes, then routinely cleared. We do not retain copies of downloaded media files on our servers.
Children's privacy
InstaSave.cloud is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
